Michael Phelps has already celebrated his record-breaking Olympic performance with his family in Beijing – and now the swimmer is celebrating his historic achievement by gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated, adorned with his eight gold medals. The athlete has won the most gold medals of any Olympian ever – famously beating out swimmer Mark Spitz's record of seven gold medals at the 1972 Olympics in Munich.But Phelps's Si cover is a nice tribute to Spitz. In the portrait, the swimmer strikes an identical pose to an iconic picture of Spitz also adorned with all his medals. Another milestone for Phelps:

The horror film Mirrors, starring Kiefer Sutherland of 24 fame, which opened without being screened for critics, was reviewed by them over the weekend. It received the expected pans. Mark Olsen in the Los Angeles Times called it "ridiculous" and added, "Mirrors reflects back nothing." Jeanette Catsoulis in the New York Times commented that Sutherland "is believably beleaguered, though not even as Jack Bauer did he ever pull a gun on a nun. It's good to see him stretch." Hugh Hefner is so impressed with sexy star Anna Faris' portrayal as a Playboy bunny, he's made her an honorary member of his extended family.Hefner and his girlfriends have already been treated to a screening of Faris' new film House Bunny, which she produces and stars in - as a model forced out of the Playboy mansion.
